On a daily basis, Melissa Johnson Associates works closely with NYSDOT and its project team to coordinate design and construction work with impacted parties and to ensure minimal disruptions to the local community in Staten Island. MJA manages the stakeholder task force for the project, resolves construction-related issues with the local community, and anticipates travel impacts for motorists.

NYSDOT's rehabilitation project involves four bridges over the Staten Island Expressway and its service roads: two over Mosel Avenue and two over the Staten Island Rapid Transit tracks.
