AJ Aoyon, Project Coordinator
AJ Aoyon is a Project Coordinator at Melissa Johnson Associates, responsible for supporting the firm’s business development, proposal, and marketing operations. He monitors procurement opportunities across city and state agencies, coordinates materials for teaming outreach with partner firms, and supports the management of MJA’s on-site public outreach operations.
AJ has supported pursuits involving NYCHA, MTA, NYCEDC and NYSDOT. He maintains the firm’s opportunity pipeline and contact database, and contributes to MJA’s social media, marketing materials, and website. Most recently, AJ oversaw the scheduling and coordination of MJA’s extensive NYCHA Outreach Services project, coordinating the firm’s neighborhood outreach staff. With prior experience engaging students, local residents, and industry professionals within small communities, AJ brings valuable and relevant experience to his work at MJA.
AJ is a rising senior at Binghamton University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Urban Planning and Architecture.
