The New York City Department of Design and Construction initiated the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Station 17 project, which will build a new two-story emergency medical services station at 1257 Morris Avenue in the Bronx. The project includes space for seven ambulances, training facilities, and below-grade parking for EMS personnel. The new facility will replace the existing Ogden Avenue EMS station.
