Naomi Carmen, Manager - People & Culture

Naomi Carmen is the People + Culture Manager for Melissa Johnson Associates. In her role, she executes strategies and initiatives to build MJA's team, culture, and values. MJA upholds a culture of collaboration, constructive communication, growth and development, and work-life balance to do the best possible work we can do for our clients and the communities our projects touch. 

Prior to joining Melissa Johnson Associates, Naomi was a designer with VOA Associates (acquired by Stantec) in Chicago. Her work spanned both public and private sector clients, including several Department of Defense contracts. She was responsible for drafting as-built drawings and construction designs, and addressing RFIs to maintain the momentum of her projects.

Naomi is a graduate of Harrington College of Design, where she received a BFA in Interior Design with a concentration in Sustainable Design.
